El Nuevo Teatro Alcalá acoge el musical “Chicago”

It was a success in Broadway and all over the world. It has also been adapted for cinema. It is a real legend on the stage. It is Chicago, the musical that the Nuevo Teatro Alcalá in Madrid will present on stage from 17th of November until the 5th of February in 2012.

The shows will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8.30pm, and Fridays and Saturdays at 6pm and 10pm, on Sundays it will be on at 7pm.

Ticket prices start at 14.90 Euros for the cheapest seats up to 64.90 Euros for the most expensive ones in the best seats in the stalls.

When murder becomes an art form that is when Chicago reaches its maximum splendour. The story is about two beautiful young girls in 1920s America, they are sent to jail accused of murder and then they try to win over the press and get on their side a prestigious lawyer to help them win the trial.

Velma Gartner, a dancer who has killed her husband an Beaulah Annan, who has killed her lover maintain a dialectic, sensual and spectacular fight.

In this production by Stage, Natalia Millán, Marcela Paoli and Manuel Bandera make this show even brighter.
