The House of Asia in Madrid (Casa Asia) will display in its site, Palacio de Miraflores, an exhibition called Afghanistan until the 1st of December 2011. This centre is situated in Carretera de San Jeronimo, number 15 and can be visited from Monday to Friday from 10am till 8pm. Saturdays it only opens from 11am till 3pm.

All the rooms can be visited for free and the whole building has disabled access, there are lifts and ramps to facilitate access.

In this display three prestigious photographers offer the visitor raw images of the neverending conflict that is still taking place in Afghanistan, with three different perspectives, three different ways of seeing things.

Ruben Guillem presents us with snapshots taken during the shooting of the documentary movie “Ariana’s Eyes”. While Cyrille Moleux exhibits a collection of forty portraits of anonymous people, where looks and gestures come to life. They were taken in a studio in Kabl and they have been coloured in manually.

Last but not least, Guillermo Cervera introduces us to a normal day in this country, showing us the way daily life develops in the midst of a cruel war.
